Azucar Bakery in Englewood. Marjorie is so sweet, and her flavors are all wonderful. Some of the cakes in her portfolio are very outdated and gaudy, but my family has used her before and she if perfectly capable of doing a cute, modern cake. She is very affordable compared to some of the other, better known wedding cake bakeries. Ours is for 80-90 people, and it cost $300 including delivery.www.azucarbakery.com

we went with simplicity cakes and they were so delicious and very affordable.  we still get compliments 3 1/2 weeks after our weddding about how good our cake was!  the baker even let me use my own flowers provided by my florist and decorated my cake at no extra charge!

We're using Mulberries in Wash Park (Denver).  Their cake is so tasty and the price was good.  You could consider doing a smaller bridal cake and go with sheet cakes for the remainder of the servings to decrease your price.

We did a small cutting cake and a LARGE round cake for 100 people and it was about $100 including delivery from Indulge in Lafayette. We LOVED it!

I am also going with Mulberries.  Their cake is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced.  The sheet cake is also a good way to cut costs, like Fran said.
