Hi to all my fellow knotties!!!! I am knew to this board, but I figured since my wedding is in 4 months I better start researching some things that I am a little unsure of. I just wanted to introduce myself and get to know everyone a little better. My name is Courtney and I'm getting married on January 9, 2010 at the Rockland Community Church in Genessee. Our reception is at the Red Rocks Visitor Center... which is AWESOME!!! OH and my FI is Aaron. :) SO HELLO EVERYONE!

    Hello! Can you tell me more about your reception site? We just started looking for a venue and would LOVE your advice! We have looked at a few places but not the RRVC. What made you choose that particular site? Have fun planning!

    Thanks everyone!!!! Kelli - We were originally going to book the Westin Hotel downtown; however, some of my FI's friends came into town and had never seen Red Rocks before. So, we went into the visitor's center and looked in the restaurant, saw the room for the reception and really liked it! There is a big red rock that they built the building around. It's pretty cool. Also, his friends thought the place was really cool and, since most of our guest are flying in from other states, we thought it would be awesome for everyone to see it. Also, Betsey, the coordinator, is super laid back and really nice. The price is less expensive than going downtown... and we already had our food tasting - IT WAS AWESOME! You really can't go wrong with it. Hopefully the day runs smoothly!

    I have never been to a wedding there, but my senior prom was held there and it was beautiful!
