So, tonight was the appointment at David's Bridal. My mom, myself, and my sister (matron of honor) went. The first dress I tried on was the one I showed you all. It was nice, it was on the maybe list. I had a few others picked out that I wanted to try on as well. Tried those.. they didn't really do anything for me or fit my venue (our ceremony is outside at a public park under a gazebo). Then the associate pulled another dress that I remembered seeing online but didn't think it would be anything special. It's a very simple dress, similar to my Maggie Sottero Phillipa, but a lot less constricting. It is soooo lightweight and I can move around so easily. Oh and I can sit down in this one.. not so much the other!
I also purchased a veil with lace edging that is gorgeous! And a sash that is actually a headband, but we are switching out the ribbon to canary yellow.
Here is a link to the sash
And here is a link to my new dress, aahhhh!
The dress I got was on the mannequin, and looked perfect. The satin underlay just needs to be steamed which they will do for me since I left the dress there (using there layaway option which will be paid off at the same time I need to get any alterations)
I am so happy with the new dress and just feel like I will be so much more comfortbale on my wedding day
