S/O hair removal

So I posted a while back that I was going for laser hair removal treatments. Well I finished the treatment.... and I have hair still. So what they do is give  you more treatments up until 2 years after you started. I started Nov 2009 so I will be going back until Nov 2011. I really don't think this was great for me. I have light skin and light hair. Apparently it works  better on DARK hair, light skinned people. I am bummed. The  whole purpose behind this was to have hair free bikini and underarm for the wedding. UGH. So I am out money. A lot of money. But thank goodness I got the buy one get one free package. Sigh. I guess I will be looking for a waxing place later too.

    oh man that sucks
Did it work even a little? or in certain spots?

I always wondered about laser hair removal- like how exactly does that even work? They should have some sort of refund policy for like 1/2 back if it doesn't work or something.

I am going to see about getting some of my money back. As far as I am concerned it didn't work at all. :(  I know people do have results, but they should have seen how light my hair is first before saying they would do it. It is like I got ripped off!

That totally sucks it didn't work, so sorry to hear that :( I was seriously giving this some thought for the same reasons, but I, like you, have light hair and light skin.  Guess I'll stick to waxing...

That stinks! You're totally right about the hair/skin tone thing though. They should have warned you about that in your consultation though! Maybe you can get your money back because of that.

I personally had a great experience with it, but I have dark hair. I had really good results, well for me at least... I am left with the peach fuzz light hairs, but that's a million times better than my coarse dark hair that was visible like an hour after I'd shave. I would recomend it to anyone with similar hair and skin tone to me, but definitely not for anyone with blonde hair.

Lucky! LOL Well I have red hair but my body hair is lighter. Like the hair on my arms is barely visible, it is blonde.  I really should try to get my money back. They should have inspected the hair to see what results I would get.  I will see what happens with the next treatments.

Thanks  :)  Idk what will happen though as I signed a contract. The 'hairloss' is only good for 2 years. ha. But I never had any LOSS to begin with.

Kira -- where did you get yours done? This is top on the list after the wedding. I have dark hair and hours after I shave if I get a chill it'll be showing again. I hate it!
