i just finished my save the dates!

I'ven decided to save money by DIYing all of my printer materials... save the dates, invitations, menus, programs, etc...

Project one, check!  Do you think they look okay?  I did them in photoshop but I'm really not a designer.

Way cute. :) I love the style. Just an FYI, if you want to save your printer, you can always get free postcards through vistaprint. I love the pictures too:)

Looks good! I think Vistaprint would be a good idea too. Also, this is just an option, FBIL is a designer and I know he would say you should make the purple have a very slight gradient, so that the brightest purple is in the center. It looks good to me either way though!

They look great! You could have fooled me about not being a designer. Much better than my attempts have been...

thanks guys!  I feel reassured that it wasn't a total hack job.

maggie: photoshop is way expensive to buy just for a project like this, about $700, so i wouldnt recommend it :).  way more cost effective to just buy a good design from shutterfly or wedding paper divas i would think. I use it for work since I'm a photographer though.

I'll be using my pro photo lab since they offer great printing at reasonable prices.  I cannot imaging trying to print myself!
