Recently engaged (Sat May 28th)!!! We couldn't be more excited and have wonderful friends and family who are just as excited as we are!!!Before we were engaged, my fiance let me know that he never really wanted a big wedding but knew I had always wanted a big wedding so compromised and said it's fine if we do...but really didn't want wedding parties. I have a sister and he has a brother so we decided on just the 2 of them as our wedding party. The problem is, I don't know how to tell me girlfriends! There is one that is like a sister to me, we are so close! I think when I talk to her she will understand but I don't want to hurt her or have her think she is not important, any suggestions on how to break it to her? And then I have another very close girlfriend, who's wedding I am in on July 8th. I don't think she will take it so well....since she has already been bugging me about who is in the wedding party and she can't wait to be a bridesmaid.....HELP! How do I let her know nicely, so that I don't upset her or hurt her feelings? Is there some other way I could acknowledge my close girlfriends that is kind but not tacky?!
