Clothes Shopping!

Awhile back I wrote about my house catching on fire from my crazy neighbor. The company that cleaned our clothes because of smoke damage lost a large amount of my clothing. =( Anyway, I need to buy new clothes. I got new work clothes and lounge clothes for the laying around the house but I need new jeans and fun tops. Where is your favorite place to buy jeans from? Suggestions for all types of clothing would be great! Thanks in advance!

Oh and for my jeans I only wear Tommy Hilfiger, they last a while and they fit very nicely on me.  I used to just buy 20 dollar jeans, never again. so I go to Macys for those..

I'm kind of jeans snob and probably pay way more than I have to, but i love Nordstrom Rack for 7's, citizens of humanity, joe's.  If you can deal with digging through racks and piles of stuff you can get some great deals.

Pants:  skinny jeans-Old Navy, linen-Victoria's Secret, regular (long) jeans-NY&Co, BabyPhat (which fit me best... go figure) - Marshalls.

Tops - Anywhere with sale/clearance!  Macys, Old Navy, Target.  If I was still skinny, I would shop at Forever 21 and stores like that for clothes to go out in, but their clothes don't fit me right.

For jeans I do Levi's or Lucky Brand Jeans. Both are good quality and seem to fit me best.

For everything else I hit up outlets - Gap, Banana Republic (Old Navy has cute things but usually don't fit me well), Ann Taylor LOFT, J.Crew. Do not buy outlet Lucky Brand Jeans. They are just not the same.

BTW, I did not know about your house catching on fire! That is just horrible!! Did you get insurance money for the thigns you lost?

Ohh, and also TJMaxx and Marshalls.  I find lots of great stuff at the Marshalls in Conshohocken.

Its my mother in laws property and it happened at 3am. Some company knocked on our door 15 minutes after the fire was put out and she signed papers with them on the spot. STUPID!

We got screwed on so much bc she just didnt use her head and got taken advantage of. I fought with the clothes cleaning company for months and finally got a few hundred for the clothes they lost. but everything else we have to take a loss on bc its her property, and I couldnt really get involved in anything insurance related.

Luckily, we didnt lose our lives, pets or anything super valuable. Our carpet got destroyed and our roof was destroyed but luckily the fire was put out before our house burned. We did have smoke and water damage though and that still sucks but I gotta look at the bright side or I'll get all worked up again.

I pretty much only wear Ann Taylor/Ann Taylor Loft jeans.  They make my butt look awesome. 

I second, third, and fourth TJ Maxx and Marshalls (and Ross) if you need to replace a LOT of clothes and have a limited amount of funds with which to do that.

How could I forget about TJ Maxx, Ross, and Marshalls?! YES those places are great for bargain shopping, but not if you don't have the time to spend looking. I go there to kill time not to find a fast outfit.

I'm a big time LOFT girl for jeans and casual wear but, Iove Marshalls and TJMaxx for fun tops and dresses.
