For those of you doing a candy buffet

I just ordered all of my stuff from this website.  I was going to take a trip into NYC but once I found this website with awesome shipping prices I decided to just order from here and save myself the time and stress of driving into nyc.  It's only $10 bucks to ship I ordered about 60 lbs of candy.

  • How much did 60 lbs cost you? What size are your jars? ...hmmm

  • It all depends on what kind of candy you buy.  This place seemed to have more of a variety then the other one was well.  I have 80 lbs of candy total.  I bought a lot of valentines day chocolate when it was on sale.  We are doing an all pink and green theme since that is our wedding colors.  I bought about $250 worth of candy on that website and about another $70 on the chocolate v-day candy.

  • That was smart to do it when it was on sale - - I am doing a purple/ivory theme...about how many candy jars do you have though? I was thinking I only needed about 40 lbs of candy...

  • We are doing about 12-15 jars.  I read somewhere that you should figure 4 oz of candy per person.  We had friends who did a candy buffet as their favor and they ended up running out of candy before everyone could get stuff.  So I want to make sure that we have more than enough.  I did about 6 oz per person.
