Lavilla Linens

hey ladies,
Has anyone ever heard of or dealt with Lavilla linens?  I found them on the web,  and actually met with one of the owners.  They have very fair prices and all the products I am looking to rent.  The meeting went well,  I thought.  But now,  I feel like I am stalking her down to send me a contract!!  I have called her and her daughter atleast  twice since the meeting,  both times asking for a contract so I could make a deposit and square this away.  I know its the holidays,  and that the linen business is a side job for her,  but I am feeling alittle ignored.  I was thinking of calling them again today,  asking one more time and maybe even telling her how I feel (in a nice way of course)  and if she still doesnt send it...... I will move on and find another vendor.  Am I letting the stress of planning a wedding during the holidays get the best of me?  Or does this sound reasonable??  thanks for your time ladies,  have a good day...

Yes.  We dealt with them.  Here's my review on them from merchantcircle.com  http://www.merchantcircle.com/business/Lavilla.Linen.215-729-4620

I give this company credit for providing low prices. But if low prices means low quality of service, then the saying "you get what you pay for" is true. Willie and family who run the home business is nice to deal with IF you can get a hold of her. They provide several phone #'s but nobody answers any of them and emails are never quickly replied to. TWO DAYS before our event they email us (not urgently call) and tell us the items we rented are not available in time after we repeatedly tried to contact them. Simple as that. No apology. No options given. No trying to help us get what we need. No initiative taken from them to keep us informed so we can be prepared with a contingency plan. Very unprofessional. Overall, the company is unprofessional and difficult to deal with. I'm sure brides planning their wedding do not need this additional stress.

I also had a bad experience with them and still not resolved.  Their linens are good priced and of good quality.  I  had to iron a lot of chair covers but that was okay.  The problem  i had also was attempting to contact them.  I had to continously email them.  I finally got to rent my linens but now I am unable to get my security deposit back.  It has been over two weeks.  I have sent several emails, phone calls with no response.  I am calling my credit card company tomorrow to see what can be done.   It is horrible that people run a business in this manner.  If the problem gets resolved I will follow up with another message..   I would be very careful when dealing with this company.
