My mom just hung on my in a huff b/c I didn't want to look at shower invites with her.  FFS it's not my job to pick them out!  

I confess she is going to be pissed when she finds out she is not sitting with us at the wedding and I don't care.

paprika- I invited several Knotties to my wedding; the only thing I regret is not inviting more (including several I didn't meet until late in the game!).  I myself have been to 4 Knottie weddings.

AW:  My husband is AWESOME!

When I go into the hospital next Monday, the likelihood that I will have many visitors is slim to none.  Which means I will be alone by myself until about 6p every day, when he is able to get up there from work.

Well, he knew how bummed I was about it.  He also knew how much I wanted The Golden Girls on DVD from Netflix- they are my new favorite show, and I am addicted to them.  Well, he got a small bonus at work...and bought the entire series for me for next week   It should be here Thursday or Friday!!

If anyone wants to come visit, I would love it.  Visiting hours at Lankenau are 11:30a- 8:30p.  Seriously, I am close enough to yall now, I wouldn't mind meeting you all finally!  :-P

I will, thank God.  I will have my computer, as well as the portable DVD player (my DVD drive on my computer just broke, and won't be fixed in time for the hospital stay).  I also plan on taking other forms of entertainment.

I didn't but I will. I kept the cut pretty much the same but Nicole shaped it up a bit. And I am really loving the way the new highlights look with the old color. I'm thinking I may go even more blonde next time, but she wanted it to be gradual. I'm very happy overall! :)

Vent:
My friend is "planning" her wedding.
She and her bf have talked about it, but the last real wedding thing they did was look at engagement rings.
He drives a benz and took her to walmart...thats its own f'ed up story...

Needless to say I think he is a lot of talk and a little action.

Anyway, she is planning planning planning and he hasn't even asked her yet.

Then she takes my ideas....not like ideas I offer her...MY ideas.

While it was entertaining in the beginning now I just feel bad for her, and I am done opening my mouth with my wedding details.

End rant.

My dress alterations cost more than my dress (which I bought off the rack at one of the David Bridal sales). If it wasn't the only one at the store, maybe I would have tried on a smaller size and it would have been a better fit. I think with all the alterations she did, it is now a smaller size. And I didn't shop around for alterations. I didn't use David's Bridal but I should have at LEAST gotten a quote! At the second fitting it did look good and fit better. She does good work so I have no complaints there which is probably more important.  I admit that I only tried on a few dresses and didn't shop around at any other stores. I was afraid I would fall in love with something I couldn't afford!

I confess I am tired of meeting with photographers. I thought it would be more fun. We are not feeling like any one is "the one". After each appointment we get in the car, look at each other, shrug our shoulders and say "meh". Here's hoping #5 (the last we have scheduled) will be the one.

Confession: so glad I had a 5 hours delay for work, I have a meeting in 50 mins then I leave for the doctor.  I don't plan on doing much in the 50 mins but be on here. 

Vent - FI took too long to get his new truck inspected and registered... and we got a "you will be towed by Tuesday" sticker on Friday.  He had from Nov - jan to do it and now for it to pass it needs 4 rear tires (yay dually) and 650 for sales tax (yay MD).  So we parked it at my parent's house so it doesn't get towed until he's able to foot that lovely bill.  Maybe out of sight, out of mind... and he can focus on the needed things and not his play-toy truck.

Confession:  I just left work in a huff and had a spectacular meltdown in my car.  Truly, one of my best.  I walked around Target for about an hour and now I'm back at my desk and feeling drained, but calmer.  I almost just left and went home.
