DUCK, NC -- Four Seasons

Sorry this is like my bajillionth post for the day...

Has anyone stayed in the Four Seasons community in Duck? We've never stayed in that community before. All the realty companies say there's a trolley that is constantly going to the beach and through town, but I just wanted to see if any of you knew just how often it actually comes by. If it's pretty frequently, then FI and I might stay on the soundfront. But, if the trolley comes through next to never, we want to make sure we're less than 200 yards to the beach.

Anyone, anyone..Bueller, Bueller....

I am staying in that community and headed out there tomorrow.  It's the nicest one in Duck.  I will check for you on the trolley.  Is there a property you're considering?

Mpar, I'm sooo excited for you! I can't believe how fast these days are winding down. Yay!! :)

That community has a TON of really nice houses I liked. Just today I was looking at "Forget Regret" (Oceanside) and "Innisfree" (Soundfront). Both are Twiddy houses.

I will take some pics and check out distances for you and look for the trolley schedule.  Be patient, I may not get to this until Monday.  Message me your email.

Teach, we are staying at Four Seasons in September of this year.  Twiddy house, called "The Fighting Crab".  By reading the info, I think trolley stops running Labor Day weekend.  Not sure where it goes and such, but we are looking forward to staying in Four Seasons development.

OK, got some info.  The trolley runs up and down Four Seasons M-F every half hour until Labor Day, sort of in September.  They don't run on the weekends (???)  They say it's too busy with the check ins and pool people, house cleaners, etc.  God forbid you give a pool person a ride.

I went up and down all of the streets and could not find the names of those 2 houses on the fronts of the houses.  So, I couldn't find them.  I looked them up online and could sort of see what the houses looked like, but couldn't match them up with the houses.  Sorry.  It's tough without street addresses.  The companies go by property numbers and names and we look for addresses.  It's a very nice community and in walking distance to Scarborough Faire and all of the shops in town.

    Hope that helps.
