Weren't you trying/visiting a new church this past weekend?  How'd it go?

    I didn't end up going since I had my sisters dog and she didn't pick her up on time

    I have 2 that I'm thinking about checking out-- so I'll choose one to visit this weekend. They're both in or close to KOP

    One is Hope Community Church

    and one seems a little crazy but fun.....422church

    I'm technically Lutheran but I pretty much consider myself a 'general' Christian anymore because most Lutheran churches are too conservative for me. The church I went to for like 20 years was very laid back with a band that played during the service, etc. so I'm looking for something similar to that- thats more related to every day life. The church my parents go to know is technically Baptist- but it has that same contemporary feel to it.
    The 422church reminds me of one my cousins went to in Baltimore- catered to younger people, etc.

    I don't know- Im open to suggestions if you have any! or know anything about either of these places

    I don't have any suggestions.  I was just wondering how it went.

    DH is Catholic and finds all the casual churches pretty wierd, while I find the Catholic mass boring and overly structured.  One day we'll come to an agreement to find a church.

    yea I gotcha. It's hard to find that balance 
    I can't do traditional services anymore- they bore me also.
    Although the 422 church may be a bit too casual for me... we'll see! I'll let you know how it goes
