Beach Nourishment

OBX2011....While down in the OBX did you take notice to the nourishment progess?? From townofnagshead.net our sections are completed!!! Just curious if the big pipes are still in place?? Just hate to have to walk over them to get to the beach, esp for the ceremony!
Hope you had a wonderful time and you must post pics of your hair trial.

    Yes! We are complete....they actually switched the schedule and did the MP 15 area first....mom likes to tease me and "see the difference that 1 phone call can make to the Governer"  LOL

    My FSIL was down there all last week and when they checked in....BAMMMM!  Pipes and bulldozers right smack in front of their place and their mgmy company NEVER told them about this....she only knew b/c I had mentioned something.  She was not thrilled about this but they were gone within 2 days....but still heard that annoying beeping sound the entire week.  But at least she gets to go back in a month for our wedding with NO beeping noises, lol.

    Ya know what?  I rode by our house but didn't get out b/c people were staying there, so I really don't know if the pipes are still in the way or not.  I don't think they are though b/c I did go to Jennette's Pier, which is like 2 miles from our house, and I didn't see anything on the beach....so maybe we are in the clear.  What MP are you at again?

    YAY!!!! This makes me feel so much better.
    That's stink that your FSIL had to deal with the annoying beeping. Could you imagine....walking down the aisle to beeping trucks?!?! AHH...nightmare. ha
    We are at MP 14.3, just up from you :) Maybe, we will run in to each other at some point????
