I tried on my dress yesterday because it's in my FIL's closet. When I bought the dress in April the boutique owner told me that she would sell me that particular one at 40% off but advised me to loose 15lbs in order for it to fit right. My mom jumped at that offer since she was the one paying for it. I agreed that I would try my best to loose the weight, which I have tried to do, but have not lost a pound.
When I put it on yesterday it went on just fine, it's not too tight in my stomach, but it won't zip at the top. I have about 3 more inches to go. It has a lot of extra room in the chest area (even though I am a C cup). It just needs extra room in the back.
I will take it to get altered in September, but I am afraid there is nothing they can do. She did tell me to loose the 15lbs. Oh and my mom remembers her telling me it can't be let out! I'm upset. This dress was a final sale at $750 and no one has money to buy a new dress. I will try my hardest to loose the weight but it's hard because I am fairly certain my weight won't budge due to a medical condition (digestion problems since my gallbladder was removed.)
So anyway, does anyone have suggestions?
