Venue help!

I'm currently living out of state, but will be moving to NC over the summer. I'm interested in venues that offer an outdoor reception site in the Raleigh area. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I recently got married at the 'Rand-Bryan House' in Garner NC (about 20 mins from Raleigh).

Beautiful place and Martha the owner is fabulous to work with!

I'm getting married at Snipes Farm Retreat in Chapel Hill in September. We are getting married under the large oak tree and then having the reception inside the dairy barn. This would also be out contigency plan if it rains. Mr. Snipe is awesome and the location is beautiful and rustic.

Snipes Farm is beautiful!  I went to a wedding there last fall.  It ended up raining that day and everything was muddy and wet so they had the wedding inside, but it was still one of the most pretty weddings I've ever been to.

Also, Rock Quarry Farms B&B in Chapel Hill is lovely.  I looked there for our ceremony and reception.  It also has that farm county feel.  The people that own it are really nice as well.

    Good Luck!

landmark, highgrove, the rose garden in downtown raleigh are all nice...

the sarah p duke gardens are by far the most beautiful. it is my favorite place in the world (which is why FI proposed to me there!). it is a little pricey to rent out, but well worth it. even if you can't afford the wedding there i would highly suggest visiting when you move! dogs are also allowed on a leash, but there normally aren't many

If you really want an outside venue..River Ridge Golf club is perfect. They have this beautiful staircase you can walk down the aisle and the reception is in a tent that is high about ground so that it gets a good breeze in the hot months. Im considering them for my wedding. Elissa (event coordinator) is so helpful. Hope this helps.
