we are very conservative.  we too attend latin mass (although i did stop covering my head about 3 years ago - however, most at my mass still wear veils). i struggled with the BC issue for a long time.  i've now just started practicing NFP.  i agree with pretty much 95% of the religion.our priest did teach us (as did my family growing up) the concept that the man is the head of the household.  but as a PP said, it does nto necessarily equate to female submission.  This topic was the one that generated the most conversation with H, the priest and I at pre-cana. for me, marrying someone who was not Catholic simply wasnt an option for me.  it was extremely important for me to have a husband that shared the same faith.  i believe it just makes things much easier and eliminates so many problems when it comes time to raise children.  i also did not date anyone who was divorced or had children.  it just was not for me, and would have involved too many headaches later down the road.

Moderate/Conservative Catholic--I believe all teachings of the Church to be the truth (abortion, marriage, etc.), but I don't cover my head, attend Latin Mass, etc.I differentiate between Fundamentalist Catholic and Conservative Catholic, which is why I said moderate.

I'm Liberal Catholic, as well as FI. I've only been Catholic since Easter, though, so I'm a bit more conservative than FI, though, since I'm all about the tradition and being more involved in the faith community. I was raised Lutheran for 25 years, and I think that makes it hard for me to be a conservative Catholic. LOL

A very liberal Catholic. I believe Jesus was the son of God, that the Eucharist is valid and beautiful, and that above all else, loving your brothers and sisters (which is everyone, no matter what religion) is the most important thing you can do. After that, I feel everything else is pretty open to interpretation, and even feel most stories in the Bible are analogies to help teach us important lessons, rather than words that should be taken literally.

I guess I'm a bit in the middle. I'm a convert. I believe all the Church has taught me and believe that I need to follow all the teachings, whether I agree with them or not. That is the clincher. There are many things I don't fully agree with, but understand where the Church is coming from either historically or bibically. However, I do believe some things need to change in the Church in the future. Until then, I'll keep following the faith to the best of my ability. My DH is more conservative, but he is a bit like me.
