Catholic Weddings

German prayer question

Hi ladies. I've never posted here, but I wasn't sure where to go with this one. I'm having an intercultural/ interfaith wedding. Neither fi nor I are super religious, but I thought it might be cool to bring in each of our faiths a little. We're having readings from our respective books, along with other traditions. The only thing I can't find is a german blessing or prayer for the programs. I'm planning on using a muslim prayer in arabic calligraphy on our front page, and I want something german catholic to match. Any ideas? I can't see doing one without the other. Sorry for the long post as a newbie here. TIA!

to my knowledge, Catholic prayers and blessings are the same no matter what country you are in.

This was all I was able to find: A German Blessing With faith there is love,With love there is peace,With peace there is blessing,With blessing, there is God,With God there is no need.
