Gifts for readers/special guests

We have 2 readers, 2 people bringing up the gifts at communion, and a friend of mine is singing at the ceremony. Should I give them each a gift or just get them each a flower to wear? I'm thinking both but any ideas for a gift? How much should I spend? TIA!

We're doing both for our readers, gift presenters and EMs. For the males, my FI makes his own sweet BBQ sauce, spicy version and wing sauce. He also makes various rubs for meats. So, we're doing a 6 pack caddy with a bottle of each sauce and 3 different bottles of rub. Each of them has said they love his sauces and rubs so I know they will love it. For the girls, we're making jar candels. My FI has made candles many times and I'm decorating the jars. They will be presented in a basket with a bottle of bubble bath. I think we're spending about $15 on each (once I break down the candle wax and ingredients for the sauces and rubs). At the ceremony, they'll be wearing simple bouts or corsages. HTH

Just spend what you can afford. We bought our readers $15 gift cards to places they would like (a resturant, barnes and noble, starbucks, adn iTunes).

Repeat this to your self: My Wedding Party is made of my family and friends and I should treat them as such.

I don't think they would really expect anything, but the corsages and boutonierres would be a nice surprise. You could also mention them in your wedding programs, if you are doing them.
