Sorry I've been MIA

To those of you who know me, obviously :DI've been busy. Found out I was pregnant and then started grad school. I can't take my meds for ADD now so school has been taking up a lot of time. I'm now back, though. Any updates on the regs?

Congrats! I was wondering where you went to. I'm not sure my wedding will be valid in the eyes of the church. We have about 80 days to fix that. Good times.

bel, i was talking to my sister about your predicament.  she seemed to think that if you married byzantine and you were roman it automatically changed your rite and vice versa.  but she wasnt certain on this.  guess that isnt much help afterall, lol.

If FI were actually Byzantine, that would be the case for me. Because I'm a woman. It wouldn't work the opposite way for men. *eyeroll* Anyway, basically, if he were actually Byzantine, when we got married, I could simply "declare" that I am now Byzantine, with an allowance to revert to Roman if he passes before me. But the ceremony wouldn't change him over. Only a change of rite can accomplish that at this point.
