stupid floods!

Our church isnt in the town we live in - its about 1/2 hour away.

Given the area flooding, the main route we take to our church is closed....our alternate route was shut down yesterday.  tehy most likely wont reopen by Sat. night/Sunday.  the other routes would take us well over an hour to get to our church.

we'll now have to go to the local church for Easter which i'm bummed about.  we love our priest and our parish.  but, i guess as long as we get to go somewhere, that's what matters.

We travel about a 1/2 hour, too - but I think our area isn't as bad with flooding from the recent storm. Will you be attending a new mass, then? I hope the roads clear up for you in time for Easter!

What a bummer!! Hopefully with the warm weather we're supposed to have tomorrow and Saturday it will at least clear up one of the routes for you.
