All of our invites were sent out about 2 weeks ago. My FI and I just had our last meeting with our priest (who we obviously sent a wedding invite and rehearsal dinner invite to) mentioned that the church secretary and nun affiliated with the parish will be at the rehearsal to help out and make sure everything runs smoothly. While I was aware our organist would not be in attendance for the rehearsal, I had just assumed with would just be our priest there with us and had no idea that there would be anyone else there helping us out.
Obviously I need (& want!) to invite them to the rehearsal dinner, and even though I really don't know them at all I'd like to extend an offer to the wedding/reception as well. I feel sort of awkward inviting them to the reception because I really don't know them, but I feel like I should extend an invite, right? I just worry that since I've already sent everything out this looks like obvious B-listing even though it was not my intention.
Should I just send the invites to both events now that I've realized this? RSVP date isn't until the 7th of May so I guess it won't look too bad if I mail them out in the next few days.
