My fiance and I just attended a marriage seminar hosted at my church by one of our paritioners who is a marriage counselor and it was 1000 times better than the pre-marriage prep class we had to go to. It was intended for married couples (a great deal of which have been married longer than my FI and I have been alive), but it was open to non married couples and singles as well. I feel like we learned alot by hearing what actual married couples have gone through, instead of being lectured by a deacon for 6 hourse who kept repeating that he didn't want to be there (not to meantion, the seminar cost a total of $0, not the case with the pre-marriage class). Just wanted to share my experience!
