Happy Easter weekend everyone!

I just wanted to wish everyone a happy Easter weekend. After Mass Sunday we are doing a big family dinner for Easter/niece's 9th birthday. So excited :o)

To those entering the church: Congrats and WELCOME!! Enjoy every minute of Mass.

Working today til 5pm, then going to Easter Vigil Mass at 8pm with FI. Unfortunately we live out of state and won't be home for Easter, but I am looking forward to spending Easter day with FI and cooking a yummy dinner for the 2 of us.

Congrats and welcome to all those getting confirmed tonight. It is such a wonderful time and ceremony, enjoy it. I was there just a year ago, can't believe its been that long already.

Happy Easter everyone! And God Bless.

I just pulled some pizza rustica (Italian Easter meat pie ) out of the oven for tomorrow.  We're going to 1pm mass tomorrow with FI's parents then we are all going to my parent's house for a big Easter dinner with my parents and sisters.

    Have a Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!  On my way to church, then to my parents' house for the rest of the day.

FI, unfortunately, had to work...:-(  He works at the hospital so they don't have days off.  He'll be over after 4, though.

My parents, FI and i went to the Easter Vigil service last night where FI was confirmed!  I had attended RCIA classes with him to be supportive (and I learned a lot from our teacher) - so I'm actually going to miss going to that class every Sunday!)

Today we are doing nothing.....until Easter dinner.  Hope you all have a great Easter!!

Went to church last night at Easter Vigil where I was confirmed!  I am very excited to have completed that process and be able to receive the Eucharist!  We are continuing RCIA until sometime in May though.  I love RCIA.  I may volunteer to be part of the team for next time around if they need us.

Kaye Smith... Congrats to your FI on his confirmation!

mlhw-nh Congrats!! I'm still in RCIA until May as well.
Last night was Easter Vigil and I was confirmed. I had my 2 sisters, mom and dad and sponsor there with me. I am SO happy to finally have received the Eucharist. Hooray for being a Catholic now!
My family stayed with me for the weekend so I got to celebrate Easter with them. Everyone has gone home now, so it's me and the pup. FI gets home thursday to celebrate my confirmation :)
