Engaged Encounter postponed!

We were supposed to be going away for our Engaged Encounter next weekend, but I just got an email that it was postponed.  It appears as though there was low registration and the facilitator had a scheduling conflict.

So now we're not going until the end of April.  We're supposed to meet with our priest the weekend after what was to be our Engaged Encounter as one of our scheduled meetings with him.  I supposed we'll still go to that as planned, but just won't have the EE to discuss with him until our next meeting.

So frustrating!

The same thing happened to me!  We were actually supposed to go on an Engaged Encounter last August but it got cancelled because not enough people signed up.  So, then we didn't get to go on the next one till now!  We're leaving for it in about half an hour.  Good thing we had such a long engagement.  I have no idea what they would've expected of us had we been engaged for a shorter period of time.

The same thing happened to us!  Not enough people signed up so they canceled it.  Unfortunately, we didn't get to reschedule because FI just started a new job as a police officer and he's in training.  So we ended up doing the one-day Pre-cana instead just to be safe.  I've heard that the EE weekends get cancelled a lot, so if it happens again I would definitely look into other options they give you just in case, so you can have it fulfilled by your wedding date.  There was one couple in our class that had this happen to them and they ended up having to do the Pre-cana one week before their wedding...barely in time...needless to say, they were really stressed!

Thanks for the suggestion.  If it gets cancelled again, we wouldn't be able to do the next EE since it's after our wedding!
