gown alterations...

Hey y'all,

I just moved to Dundee, IL.  I got my dress in another state, but I'll need to get alterations done here.  Anybody have a good taylor/bridal boutique they'd recommend?  Even just tips on how to find a reputable but affordable place would be greatly appreciated.

    Welcome to Illinois!!!

    I LOVE Mary Catomy Bridal Alterations!!!  I actually grew up with her daughter many moons ago and she has been doing alterations from her house for over 25 years.  EVERYONE goes to her and she is right in Schiller Park.  I'm in Bartlett (which is right near Dundee )and it takes me about 35 minutes to get there.  If you google her name you will see all the great reviews on her as well.  I am actually going there today for my second fitting. LOVE her--check it out.

    AMAZING! She did such a good job. She was so nice and paid a lot of close attention to detail. Her prices were competive, if not a bit higher than average, but I didn't want to take any chances. I heard of her from another forum recommendation, and google and yelp have great reviews of her.
