Well, FI has been in surgery for about 45 minutes now. I've been completely calm and everything about it until this morning. I keep having horrible thoughts about something going wrong and him not coming out of surgery.
Everyone here has been so nice. I'm actually surprised. They crack jokes and ask if we need anything. Normally, that isn't how it goes in this town. They gave him a block during prep. I got to see him for awhile before they took him and he was so loopy lol. He was trying to fight sleep and move his arm (which he can't because of the block).
I'll post later after he's out of surgery.
