What to expect on 1st dress fitting

Ok, I am going tonight for my first dress fitting. The dress already has a built in bra, so I am not wearing one. I am also not wearing a crinoline as the dress is pretty full. I am taking my shoes. The only things I really want done to the dress is to take out the zipper and put in a lace up back and also bustle the dress. I have no idea what to expect or if I should take anything else???TIA!

    You sound like you know what you want done, so that's about all that you need.  If you have your veil, bring that also.  I made my veil and when I brought it to my first fitting, I realized that I needed to make it slight shorter (it was fingertip length) so it would go better with the lace up back.If you know what type of bustle you want, that would be helpful.  Maybe a camera to take some pics :)
