Help! Where to get a gown made in the cincinati area

I'm looking to get my gown custom made. i already have the designs drawn, the dress is very detailed nothing impossible, it resembles an Ines di Santo gown. I'm just looking for a reputable seamstress. any ideas? If you live in the cinci  area i would appreciate your suggestions. i just don't want to  end up half way threw the job and then find out the seamstress cant make my gown well enough. oh and does anyone have any idea how much it will cost to have a gown made?

I'm pretty sure kessieblue had her gown made locally and it was beautiful.  You can try to page her here or on the Cincinnati nest board (not sure if she is still around much).

Tony King has made dresses in the past. You could always ask him. My Mom and I asked him if he makes gowns and the last one he made was for a girl who wanted a gown like the one Jessica Simpson wore when she married Nick Lachey. I don't know how much it would cost but he's kind of expensive on the alterations side so I don't think it would be cheap.

Margaret Olfield made my daughter's dress and it was beautiful. I don't have her contact info with me but I am sure someone will have it.

FYI - Tony King wanted $1,000 to just alter my dress! Needless to say, he's not doing it b/c that was more than the dress cost!! What is your budget for getting one custom made???

My seamstress makes bridal gowns. She made Anthony Munoz's daughter in law's dress for her wedding. She also majorly altered one of my friend's dress that was an off the rack and was very heavily beaded. I highly recommend her! Her name is Cindy Malinoff and she is located in Kenwood. I know that she is able to make from "scratch" as mentioned in the pp as well. I'm sure if you emailed her what your thoughts were on what you wanted your dress to look like she would be able to give you an estimate of cost.

my dress was custom. But she lives in LA. she did my bridesmaides dresses too, which they just sent her the design and measurements and she mailed them to us. She charged me 900. fo reverything. She even made me a corset that was made inside the dress. just let me know if your intertested. or if you want pics I flew out there and she made it in 3 days.
