Wedding went very well besides the drama about my flowers. (florist called the day before the wedding to tell my my peonies came in the wrong color, but she would be more than happy to fix it, but wanted me to come in an would show me how she would fix the problem... I had to leave my Spa Bachelorette party early to go take care of this. I get to the Florist and my Hot Pink (out of season ordered from Holland Peonies) are pale pink and looked hideous! I don't have the courage to yell at the lady but she insists she will take care of it. Take it to the wedding morning when the Florist calls my MIL to tell her that the only way they can fix the problem is by getting silks and spraying them hot pink... I was fuming I spent $700 on my flowers and went with this florist just for the peonies they promised they could get me. 9 AM on my wedding day I am bawling my eyes out at the florist because what they had planned was nothing like I had hoped or imagined. while running errands afterwards, to get a pen for my guestbook, I ran into one of the ladies who works at the florist at Michaels buying more silks to make the bouquets. In the end the bouquets were gorgeous and I got a ton of compliments on it.

Close up:

My wedding day was a complete blur and am so grateful for my inlaws showing us the video from the wedding upon arriving home yesterday morning.

my dad and I cried through the whole Father Daughter dance:

and I had a blast smearing cake all on DH's face (it even ended up in his eye Surprised)

My photographer didn't get some pictures that I was hoping to get but thatnd  is partially my fault for the Day of schedule. People began leaving around 10:45 so we did our sparkler exit early then came back to do more couple pictures.

The highlight of our day was that DHs grandfather with severe alzheimer's was able to make it to the wedding and even was able to come for a good protion of the reception. (he wasn't even supposed to come at all because of how bad he is getting) I balled my eyes out when I saw him, it meant the world to DH and I.

PS. Vendor Reviews will be up soon. Florist is to remain nameless right now... they are working to resolve everything.

I had him show up at 1:30 and stay until 11:30. I had him show up for hair and make-up and the make up lady was running behind. then we got back on schldedule... i just wish I would have given him 1 1/2 hours for pictures after the ceremony because you don't realize how long getting people together takes on top of him having to check the lighting for every place he moves.... all the little things add up.

I highly recomend a first look to take advatnage of any "spare" minutes Jason may have prior to the ceremony.
