Cincinnati Bride- BEWARE!!!

I recently purchased a dress from this company for my cousins wedding. The dress was 182 dollars. I called to give my measurements and pay for the dress on July 7, 2009. They charged my account right away for the dress but waited to put the order in until the other bridesmaids had paid. I asked why they wouldn't just wait to charge it and they said," it's our policy". - Whatever. On July 20, 2009 My cousin contacted me to tell me the dress was not being ordered b/c two of the bridesmaids did not pay in time. I contacted the company, (spoke to Saundra) to get my money reinbursed and she stated that they could not reinburse me the full amount because of the $50.00 cancellation fee. ( for a dress that was not even purchased?)I explained to her that I was not informed of a $50.00 cancellation fee, I never agreed to one, nor did I sign any type of documentation stating that I knew of one. She then stated to me," It's not my responsibility to baby sit a bridesmaid"- LOLOL Can you believe it? I was the responsible party contacting to get reinbursed, she would have STOLE my money if I didn't call back to get my money. She also did not have any of my documentation, she accuately asked me how much the dress was! Then she wanted my CC number again to reinburse me, and I said, "no, send me a check" She agreed and called me two weeks later stating that she is not aloud to write me a check b/c it's against policy! WTHell! This women, and cincinnati bride in general can take the word" policy" and write their own definition! RIDICULOUS! So not only is this Saundra lady, rude, uneducated and unprofessional- she's a thief! Buyers beware!!!! Cincinnati Bride has a reputation of stealing- Google them and you will find out! DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR- You will get horrible service!

So sorry to hear about this, I think my next move would be to talk to Bride and other BM's (who didn't pay on time) to see a way to get your $50 back. Knowing myself whether tacking or not I'd ask the BM's who were late in order they screwed you over as well. The store obviously doesn't care about the customer or repeat business. Thanks for sharing I'll make sure to remember this to my friends when they get married.I hope this will get resolved soon! :)

I am sorry that you had this experience but I had the most amazing time with Saundra. I had been treated very poorly at bridal and formal in the bridal section by at certain attendant. I remember her name but I am not going to dishonor her name but lets just say it was really bad and i had her 2 times and she was no help at all she made me feel like poop. I then saw a dress that looked kind of similar to the one in bridal and formal in the cincinnati bride. I went in and was warmly greeted by Saundra. I tried on the dress and didnt like it at all. Then she went and picked out four dresses for me that would look good on my body type and I fell in love. She was so helpful. I also had her again when I went and decided that the dress she picked out was my perfect dress. She was the most helpful person throughout my time looking for my dress and I had been to a ton of places. I am sorry that it happened to you that way though.

You can always call your credit card and dispute the charges, especially if you didn't sign anything. What an outrageous situation! Even if your bridesmaids were late with their order, the store should have given you all the info and been more willing to help you have a good experience.
