Loveland/Loveland Receptions Inc Brides

Hi Ladies, I haven't been on much because I have been all wrapped up in buying a house.  YAY!!  We close on the 26th.  However, I have been doing SOME wedding work.We are booked for Sept 18th at the Loveland Receptions.  Our new house is about 8 minutes away.  My question:  For those of you in Loveland, do any of you have any favorite churches around there?  I saw the big Baptist one on Loveland Madiera and it looks WAY huge.  Other than that, I'd just like to keep it non-Catholic. Also, any favorite places around there to go for pics between ceremony and reception?  Timmy wants to keep to tradition and not see me before the wedding, so some way to keep it all kinda close would be awesome.Any input is welcome.  TIA, girls!

I'm a loveland Receptions bride too. Can't help you on the church part- we're getting married at St. Andrew's in Milford. For pics, howeever, we are going to ault park after the ceremony. We have about a 2 hour gap so that gives us plenty of time. It's really not that far of a drive from Loveland.

For churches, I would recommend my church, Epiphany UMC on Loveland Miamiville, across the street from the Oasis.  Nice sized, very pretty church. For photo locations, you might want to check out Old Loveland.  There are a couple parks right on the river there that are very pretty, and there's a neat wooden bridge on the bike trail that works well for pictures.  I had my engagement pictures for my first wedding done there, and they turned out really well.

Ashley, how are you dealing with your 2 hour down time?  i.e.: what are your guests doing? Just heading back home/to the hotel? Tim doesn't want to see me before the ceremony, I just don't know how to make it work time-wise without it....Thanks for all the input!

MY guests are mostly from out of town, so we are encouraging them to use that time to check into the hotel, relax ,freshen up whatever. For other guests, we will taking in the sights of Old Milford. (where the church is located)
