Band cost and Rec.

Can someone tell me how much a band is going for these days? My sister is thinking of using one and we are not sure what to expect cost wise. Also if you have a rec. that would be great. She is thinking that a good mix of rat pack type songs . swing and some rock as well? Is that possible? TIA

Stays in Vegas band... staysinvegasband.com played at my wedding. They were amazing. Our dance floor was packed and they were the number one thing that people just raved about all night. They do play some swing music, but not a lot. They play everything though. Rock, swing, pop, and country are all on their playlist. They will learn some songs as well. People are still raving about them. As for the price we paid $2400. I found bands ranged from $2000 - $5000. Most were in the $2300 - $2500 range. It is a big cost, but it was so worth it! Good Luck! As for other bands... Johnny Clueless is very popular as is Greg Lee and Jack  Garrett!

I'd expect to pay around $5,000 for a band.

I used to hear Airwave a lot at Ruby's downtown...they play a great mix very well...I think they play at Carlo and Johnny's sometimes. I know they play at weddings, but I don't know what they charge.
