I am doing DIY favors.  My question is when do you begin actually putting them together?  (my FI is a chef and he is making BBQ rubs) Because if we have the RSVP 1 month-2 weeks before the wedding, that just does not seem like enough time to order the bottles from on-line (get them in), then make the rub to go inside and then fill them all??  When should I start??

hmmm- how big is your guest list and what is the shelf life on the rub?

I would guesstimate the number of bottles needed (round up) and make the spice rub a few weeks before the wedding. You could always make another batch if you run out but ordering more bottles would take forever....

Thank you ladies.  I will be doing them for at least 80 people.  So I think I am going to order the bottles and then he will make the rub a couple of weeks before the wedding.
