I hired Stephanie too, so I frequently stalk her blog, plus I knew you were recently married so I've been looking forward to seeing her photos of your wedding! It looks like it was amazing, and you looked fantastic!

I absolutely adore your cake topper too! I've had a hard time finding cute, interracial toppers that fit us as a couple, and yours was just adorable! Please tell me where you found it!

The cake topper was certainly an issue for us as well because I didn't like the traditional interracial people that you could mix and match and I didn't want to do a monogram.  I knew I wanted birds, so I looked on Etsy.  There are so many, but I also couldn't justify paying $100+ for this.

I was randomly on recycledbride.com one day when I saw the Etsy birds I wanted on there.  Another bride ordered them from Etsy but they didn't arrive until after her wedding so she never used them and was selling them for less than half the price, so I scooped them up.  The seller is RedLightStudio.  She doesn't have anything listed right now, but there are several others that can make you something similar on Etsy.  I would actually recommend doing an alchemy request and see what offers you get. GL!

Thanks so much for the info. I don't have any particular affinity for birds, but I love how classy and subtle the black and white birds look...and the "lovebird" connotation is perfect. I am not a fan of the traditional mix and match interracial couples either...I'm a DW bride so I want something a little different and more casual, and the birds are so perfect.
