Outdoor Ceremony Site In NKY

Hi, I am recently engaged and very new to the knot boards so please be gentle!! :) I am looking for any help anyone can give me for an outdoor ceremony spot in nky, preferably with a city view. I know there are plenty in Cincy, and the Drees Pavilion & Embassy are way out of my price range. I am I out of luck or does anyone know of a hidden gem somewhere? My fiance and I met when we worked at applebees on the river so we think it would be aweome to get married somewhere near where it all began. Thanks!! :)

You could try the Inn at Oneonta.  It's right on the river off of Rt. 8, but I don't know how expensive it is.

Are you looking to have the reception there as well or just the ceremony?  My cousin had just her ceremony (it was very small) at Mt. Echo Park.  We just drove up there and had the ceremony and then went to dinner.  It didn't cost her anything.  I looked it up on the Cincinnati parks website and if you rent the pavillion for the ceremony or reception at Mt. Echo it is $1000 and hold 170 people.

P.S Mt Echo is on the Ohio side, but far enough from the city that you get city skyline views.

Hello. Cincinnati Wedding Magazine has lots of ideas. You may want to try Behringer-Crawford Museum (Devue Park), The Benchmark (Covington), Carnegie Visural and Performing Arts Center (Cov), Cincinnati Marriott, Drees Pavilion (Devue), Gardens of Park Hills, The Grand & Fifth and Madison,  or Wiedemann Hill Mansion ( I like this place!!) I included reception places too! Good luck!

I booked Oneonta a year ago, and they have raised their prices $1000 since then, but don't include anything else with it.  And the year before I booked you could rent for just one night, but when I went to get it you hade to rent it for the entire weekend.  Don't get me wrong I LOVE the place, but I think if they are going to raise their prices, and continue raising them, so much and charge what they do now $6800 (it may go up again by your date) they should include more in it.  I just wanted you to see what their prices used to be before you see what they are now.  Let me know if you have any questions about the place.  :)  Good luck in your search.
