Invitations

Hey Ladies,
I'm having a hard time finding invitations I like that I can afford. I would love to have the same theme for our invitations/reception info/place cards/thank you cards/etc, but I can't spend a whole lot. (I really don't want the theme to be "boring white paper.")

SO... Does anyone have suggestions for any online companies? or a company in the Tampa area?

Thanks!!!

You could always try Etsy. Find something that generally fits your theme and work with the seller to customize it. Then you can print anywhere (Kinkos, home printer, etc.)

I had a friend do a graphic design on his computer with the invitation wording I gave him.  I just needed to find paper and envelopes which I think I will get from www.paperandmore.com. I will have a local print shop print them professionally for me, but I'm sure you could do this at home.  I am in the process of getting the cardstock and envelopes, so no finished product yet, but they should be about $1 per invite when I'm done.

What is your budget for this item?  I actually found the invites that I loved online, but then went to my local Party City and they have a discount of 30% off invites and coordinating accessories.  HTH

I would recommend finding a freelance designer (thru Etsy or other) They can work with you to make a suite unique to you and your wedding, are way more flexible than big name sites and stores.  I worked with Jennifer Crawford – metzcrawford@hotmail.com  - and she created invites based on a combination of various ideas I saw online and my specific colors , and was more affordable than any site I  came across.  HTH

I would check Paper Players in Dunedin.  Michele is WONDERFUL to work with.  She did an amazing job with coordinating things for our wedding, and everything looked beautiful.  She will also work with whatever your budget is.

I went with Alicia with Seaside Invitations. I had gotten a quote from another vendor for my boarding pass invitations for waaaay too much. Yes we used metallic slips with bamboo paper, but that was too much for my budget. Alicia did the same thing beautifully for half. She's extremely reliable and has a great response turnaround time. She loves doing custom invitations so if you have any ideas, play around with them and she'll be able to create it! Good luck!
