How to put a pic in sig

Okay so I have tried to find out how to put a pic in my signature but I can't figure it out. Help please?

    You'll need to first upload the picture you want to an online web gallery.  You'll then need to copy the picture location, and get the tinyurl address for it (the latter is a very important step).  Then, you need to put this code in your signature box:<*img src="yourtinyurlhere" width="200">Make sure to take out the asterisk, and replace the yourtinyurlhere with your own tinyurl.

    Hmmm...I did it but it's still not showing, it's just an empty white box with a red dot...??
