I'm looking for an affordable wedding cake for 140 people, preferably in Ithaca. Nothing fancy, just simple cake and icing. Personally, I think $5 / slice is a bit much...

You are on the wrong broad. try central ny. I know nothing about ithaca, other than it is not in WNY.
