I had a 45 lbs dress with a corset back laced up tight, and I had a great piece of advice passed to me that I wanted to pass on. We had about an hour - an hour and a half between the pictures downtown and the ceremony, and I took my dress off in between. This was SO NICE because I got a chance to breathe and recoup while driving to the church and waiting. I felt much more refreshed for the wedding and ready to go after the already-long day. So if you have some extra time, do this. It will make the day go much easier.
