here I go overthinking things again...In my letter I want to open with "Welcome to Cincinnati!" but technically the reception & hotel is in Covington. So, should I say "Welcome to Cincinnati/Covington" or just keep it as cincy?

I think Cincy is close enough! To OOTers they think they are coming to cincy... Its close enough and they can see it from cov!

I consider Covington to be a part of greater Cincinnati. (I used to live in Covington.) So just Cincinnati.
