Programs- How should I word this?

So my ring bearer and one of my flower girls are kids I babysit. So on the program as of right now i have Samantha - friend of the bride same with the ring bearer. What should I put I mean everyone seems to use cousins or niece so it says cousin of the bride. Does friend sound ok? or should I put something else.

    My flower girl was a little one I used to nanny for. I put friend of the bride. She is a friend even though she is 6. It meant a lot to her to have that on there.

    I would put friend. On my programs, I also put a short passage as to how I met each member of the wedding party. Gave people something to read while they were waiting on the ceremony to begin. Plus, it will help the guests understand how they are your friends a little better.
