Casino Bachelorette..which one? (Not Vegas)

My MOH is  planning my bachelorette party and she is doing a faux vegas style party but doesnt know which intown casino is better. Hollywood sounds fun because of boogie nights but I heard that Rising Star has a better hotel. Grand Victoria seems a little stale for us...but Im not sure!

Has anyone had theirs at one or been to a party at one of them?

Re: Casino Bachelorette..which one? (Not Vegas)

  • I would do Hollywood.  Grand Victoria is now Rising Star.  Belterra is far out and there isn't a lot to do there (and the casino is pretty small).  Hollywood is always a good time.  It's also close enough that anyone who didn't want to stay there could go home.
  • That sounds like so much fun. What we are doing is a Chicago shopping trip. I am so excited to get away for a few days!
  • if it helps everyone in the lawrenceburg/aroura area like Rising Star better its less crowded and the slots pay off a little more frequently. but hollywood has boogie nights which would be a fun alernative to the casino for a batchelorette party.
  • oh a plus for belterra is they have an awesome spa that neither of the other two have. Just depends on your group dynamic which would be best for you.
  • My MOH and bridesmaids are planning my bachelorette party at Hollywood casino. My FI and I got engaged at the Final Cut restaurant there and thought it would be fun to have go back there for the bachelorette party. Hollywood has so much to do and from what I have noticed, a younger crowd. Also, if you don't want to spend the money to stay at the hotel, there is a Holiday Inn across the street that offers a free shuttle to the casino. It may be a cheaper option for those on a budget who want to spend the night.  I would definitely recommend Hollywood!

  • Boogie nights at Hollywood would be my choice!
