Hi, I posted something similar to this a few months ago, and I figured that by reposting, someone who is familiar with the area may have a good idea.
My FI and I are getting married in August of this year on my FFIL's farm a few miles outside Versailles (Ripley County, IN). Due to logistical issues, we feel it better to have the reception at a separate venue.
However, we're having a lot of trouble finding an affordable venue in Southeast Indiana that will accommodate 150-200 people. Per an earlier suggestion, I'm contacting Walhill Farms in Batesville, IN to see about them, but from what it looks like it might be outside of our budget. Also, we received a suggestion from a potential caterer in the area to try a couple of nearby American Legion and VFW halls, but when we've called, no one will answer nor return our phone calls, so that doesn't seem to be a viable option unfortunately.
Does anyone know of an affordable reception location in Southeast Indiana that can accommodate 150-200 people and would be open to outsider booking? Thank you in advance for your help.
