Outdoor wedding near Sharon Woods

Hello Everyone,
We plan on having our reception at the Lakeside Lodge in Sharon Woods and am looking for somewhere to have the ceremony. I want the ceremony to be outside and have trees and lots of leaves around since it will be in the Fall. Does anyone know of a good place to have it around there? Seating doesn't necessarily have to be included but seems like it takes a lot of the hassle out. If chairs aren't included where do you recommend for renting chairs? Thanks for any help you can give!!

In Sharon Woods is the Heritage Village where they have a sweet little church you can rent for weddings. It seats 100 according to the website.

Sorry! I just read that you would like the cermeony to be outdoors. On the same website you can get information about outdoor weddings in the Heritage Village inside of Sharon Woods.

why don't you have the ceremony at the lodge outside. My sister had both there a couple years ago. She had 125 people in the grassy area to right of the building facing up the hill . or if you go out the side of the building near the restrooms and up a hill it levels out there for many more people.my sisters wedding was on October 14th, the trees were changing colors , there were a couple deer up on the hill watching the ceremony , ducks and geese on the lake out back.

We are going to at the most have 100 people (just made guest list last night). We saw up the hill where it evens out and was going to do it there. But the hill you are talking about is that to the left if you were walking down towards it from the parking area? We didn't go look over there so I'm not sure if there is space over there.

yes the one over to the left as you are walking down toward the lodge, some of the chairs were lined up on the black top, and she had the arch into the grass area with people facing up the hill kind of back up toward the parking area at the top.i will look for photos and see if i can find them to post, i'm in the process of moving and have alot of stuff packed already.

I was thinking about having my reception out by the lodge as well. I've never been to Sharon Woods yet personally, but we will also be going out to view the park during the fall. Our wedding is going to be in the early fall (we are thinking anytime between October 6-20)... I was wondering if the leaves changed color by that time since we would like to have and outdoor wedding with an inside reception. If you have any advice  that you like to offer...I would greatly appericate it! Thnak you so much! Courtney
