Yesterday I opened the individual packages for our invitations to start assembling them. The room was dark so I didn't notice until I opened the blinds that just about every single one has a crease right in the center of the invite where the wording is which makes it super noticeable. Some of them are completely unusable while others I could probably get away with. We also noticed some of vellum were bent or ripped which makes them unusable.
The company paperstyle.com told me that they'll reprint them but now I have to go home and individually count all the cards to let them know how many they need to reprint. I didn't open the reply and information cards yet because I wasn't ready to put them in envelopes but now I should to make sure they're not damaged either. If they are they'll need to be reprinted which I'll need to do now since we're down to the wire here. That part bothers me a bit within itself because now I'll run the risk of damaging them after they're out of their protective packaging. It's a nuisance to say the least. They said the vellum are harder to replace so I don't know what we'll do about that. Hopefully they'll discount us or something.
Normally I wouldn't get upset about something so minor as it would probably seem to other people but we paid a pretty penny for these. We shouldn't have to send out damaged invitations. Which paperstyle gets, it's just not something I wanted to deal with.
Thanks for listening
