Hi ladies!!! I wanted to share my vendor reviews with you b/c like so many other brides, I found them very helpful!
Embassy Suites RiverCenter - A++++++ (ceremony & reception)
I cannot express how wonderful the people are there. I worked with Jessica Emerine throughout the planning process and she was so wonderful! She never once made me stress about any of the details that I asked to have and once we found out that there was supposed to be rain the day of our wedding, she was able to move our ceremony inside and make it even more awesome than I had expected it to be! I would recommend the Embassy to anyone looking for a beautiful ceremony and/or reception.
Lucky Clover Photography - A+++++++++++
Robb and Katie are just great people! They spent the whole day with us even though Robb had a stress fracture in his foot and both of them were fighting colds - they stuck it out and did not complain once!!! They are freakin' troopers! I cannot wait to see our pics!!!
Robb O'Dell (Officiant) - A+++++++++++++++
I cannot tell you enough how happy we are that we used Robb as our officiant! He made our ceremony so personal and special that it ended up being our favorite part of the entire day! We had thought that it was going to be the "typical" ceremony that you see at all weddings, but Robb gave us each questions that we had to answer in private and we both heard each others answers for the first time right along with all of our guests at the ceremony....it was so perfect! Robb is such a great guy and it was even better that he was already there since he seconded as the photog too!
Marilyn's Cakes - A+++
DH and I didn't really get any cake other than what we shoved into each other mouths, but we did receive a lot of compliments on the design and taste of her cake. Marilyn was so nice and extremely accommodating throughout the planning process b/c I changed my design on her a couple of times, but she just went with what I threw at her each time. She's great.
DJ Butlers - Rhett Frambes - A+++++++
He is a long time friend of mine and I knew that he would be our dj right from the start. He did such a great job with the music and keeping everyone moving. The last dance was the chicken dance - I know...it's tacky...but he did such a great job with getting everyone up and around us...it was a great end to an even better day!
Fabulous Bridal - B
Don't get me wrong, this is a great shop to purchase your dress if you don't really have a budget. I was a very budgeted bride and when I went there I told my sales associate what my budget was and I got my dress within my budget only b/c she had made a mistake of telling me the wrong price and then had to honor what she told me. But the reason that I give them a "B" is b/c she made me feel guilty for purchasing my dress for the price that she incorrectly quoted me - she said that she would be in trouble if I did. I just feel like she didn't have to tell me that since it was her mistake to begin with. All in all, I did have an okay experience there - better than other places I've heard about.
Folchi's Formal Wear - A+++
Mark Folchi is just amazing! He is such a great guy and he was super nice when having to deal with him. We did have an issue with them loosing DH's tux but it was a crazy week for them due to Prom season - so I understood and they had another one for DH within minutes. I highly recommend them to all brides!
Pearl's Place (bridesmaids dresses) - A+
I was a little skeptical when ordering the girls dresses from here, but it turned out great! They were the true designer dresses and the colors were exactly what I wanted! And they were $90 cheaper there than any bridal shop in Cincy!
Adora Event Rentals - A++++++++++++
I worked with Eleni through the entire planning process and she was amazing also! When I was doubtful as to which colors to use or which cover looked better she was able to meet me on two separate occasions to make sure that I was comfortable with how everything was going to look. She even called me on the day of my wedding to inform me that the covers for the chairs didn't go all the way to the floor due to new chairs at the Embassy and wanted to know if I wanted her to send different covers down. I thought that was really thoughtful considering when I went to look at them no one would be able to tell that they were just an inch short.
Krogers Floral Shop (Cold Springs, KY) - A+++
I used Kroger's Floral shop b/c a friend of the family works in the floral shop and she took care of all of our flowers (bouquets & corsages - the centerpieces were provided by the Embassy and the guys wore pocket squares). She did such an amazing job with all of the girls bouquets and the mom's corsages!
Vanovers Cleaners (Reading, OH) - F------
I cannot tell you how upset I am with Vanovers - so upset that I filed a complaint with the BBB! I had to get my dress cleaned before the wedding due to it being a sample dress and during the cleaning process they damaged my dress and put a blue mark on the front of it. After going back and forth with them trying to speak to a manager, I finally gave in and spoke to the woman who damaged my dress during the cleaning process. Of course she tried to say that it was like that before I brought it in, but it was not b/c my seamstress would have noticed any damage before she was finished altering it. They are so unprofessional and rude to their clients - I would NEVER recommend them to any bride. What was even more upsetting was that Fabulous Bridal referred them to me! Vanovers only reimbursed me 1/2 of the cleaning cost! My fight with them is not over yet!
Sorry so long, but we had such a perfect day that I had to share who helped to make it so perfect for us!!!
