Mrs.D

Hey!  Just wondering if you have a picture or the wording for your invives I could take a look at?? I was just wondering if you used the general address for Spring Grove, or if there was a separate one for Norman Chapel...

TIA!

    We used the
    Together with their families
    blah blah blah
    Friday the twentieth of June
    Seven o'clock in the evening
The Norman Chapel at Spring Grove
    4521 Spring Grove Avenue
    Cincinnati, Ohio

We left off the cemetery part.  No one had trouble getting there (besides traffic, but that's why we had a late ceremony).  If I remember, there are signs near the gates to point it out.  The only person who got lost was DHs uncle, but that's because he was checking out the graves on foot.

Forgot to ask... Did you do a directions sheet?

No, we didn't.  We figured the 'at Spring Grove' would give people the heads up that it's the cemetery.  And when people hear that it is in a cemetery, they don't forget it.  A catholic church, there are lots.  Cemetery chapels, not so much.  Once they get there, all you hear is how pretty it is though.

We did directions to the reception location on the back of the programs.  We just did tri-folds from Michaels (super cheap, but didn't look it).

I am also getting married at Norman Chapel at Spring Grove.
Our invites say "Norman Chapel at Historic Spring Grove".  That way they know the place is at Spring Grove but I didn't have to use the word cemetery.

    Hope this helps!!

Spring Grove is also an Arboretum and I have seen that on a friends invitation. It said "Norman Chapel at Spring Grove Arboretum".
