Local Filipino restaurant or caterer?

Does anyone know of any Filipino restaurants or caterers in the Cincy/NKY area?  I really want to have Filipino desserts at my reception dinner, but don't want to have to overnight it from out of state.

Thanks!

I'm in the same boat because I am Vietnamese.  Unfortunately, I also don't know how to help you with the Filipino restaurant search.

Yeah, my FI is from the Philippines and I would love to have Filipino desserts served since we're not having any other Filipino food.  Not giving up yet... :)

    Good luck to you too!

Getting desserts OOT isn't too bad of an option, actually.  It may require freezing and overnight shipping.  But I think your FI would be happy that you're honoring his culture.  There is also a Filipino grocery store that I occasionally go to.  I don't even know the name!  It may be good to call and see what they have to recommend.

FWIW, I just went to a wedding this Saturday that was entirely catered by a restaurant from Atlanta!  Can you believe that?  It was a 10-course meal with lobster, quail, fried flounder, etc.  And it worked out great!  The restaurant where the wedding was held agreed to let this caterer use their kitchen.

OMG!  From ATL??  Must have been one heck of a chef to bring them all the way in for that!

That's exactly what I was thinking about the desserts.  Freezing and overnighting might not be too bad.  :)

Yes there is a filipino restaurant located off of the 129 Michael Fox highway in west chester.  They are very small, but my mom frequents the restaurant all the time!  I always have her pick up casava and rice cake!  Good luck!

caseyandlizzie, excellent!  I'm so happy to hear that!  There's three that I know of so far in town:

    1. Song Long at 1737 Section Rd (a longtime favorite of Cincinnatians)
    2. Chopsticks at  7735 Cox Rd (a relatively new one in West Chester near VOA)
    3. Pho Lang Thang at 1801 Race St (I think it's in Findlay Market, it hasn't had its Grand Opening yet, though!)

@ judynjason:  Do you know the name of the restaurant?  I'm planning my wedding from NC, so I'm not familiar with the area.  I tried to Google it, but nothing.

    Thank you!!
