Moonlite Gardens, Coney Island...

Has anyone been there for a wedding before? Have you looked at it for your own wedding? My mom is insisting that I look/consider it for the ceremony and reception.

I have been there for a wedding, but it's been about 12 years ago. I'm sure the decor has changed since then, but I will tell you that just the outdoor ambiance was really, really nice and different. It's worth a look into. Good luck!

I looked there for my wedding. It was really pretty and not terribly expensive. We wound up going with someone else though. The only real draw back was you have to do all the set up yourself and you connot get in to the venue until 12 noon the day of the wedding. So if you have friends that can do it for you not a problem ! Really beautiful.

I really wanted to get married here, but they did not have my date.  At least check it out, if you email the lady there she will send you some photos of weddings there and they are beautiful!

I also thought their pricing was competitive, the only annoying thing was they charged like 5$pp for nice looking chairs.  Their normal chairs are like the plastc green outside ones.

Check it out!  esp if you want a band the place is gorgeous!  AND, you can get fun pics on the ferris wheel, ski balling, merry-go-round, etc.  Too fun.

Thank you ladies. Just one more question. Is there room to move everything inside/under something there? All the pictures I have seen, eveything is outside with no tents or anything. Thats my biggest worry I think.

I'm having my wedding at Moonlite Gardens this September. I absolutely fell in love with it when we went and looked at it. Feels like old New Orleans. If it does rain or in the case of bad weather, they do have the option to have the wedding/reception in the sheltered area.

I was really interested in having my wedding there this September. I think it is so gorgeous especially lit up at night. My one big problem was 1. Cincy weather, who knows if you be able to have your nice big dance floor and 2. the bar prices were only for 3 hours I think and to have an extra hour was a lot more expensive. But definitely an awesome place for a reception I think.

I'm having my ceremony and reception there in September as well. I would definitely look at it. I think it is beautiful. They have plenty of space to move stuff inside if it rains. You can contact them for pictures and stuff, and you can also google it and some photographer's blogs come up with pictures. It can't hurt to look!
