Sorry for the long post....

Sooo I've started looking for jewlery for the bridesmaids and I'm having trouble deciding.  I wanted to start early so I didn't have a massive expense right before the wedding.  We have 7 bridesmaids.... kind of a lot so it really adds up! 

I really like the look of simple earrings with a chunky fun bracelet for each.  I think a necklace may take away from the neckline of their dresses.  My mom is starting to think it may be too simple and a necklace would look better than the bracelet.  Our colors are mainly black and white but we have silver and red accents.  I'll post the links to the dresses.

What are your honest opinions??

This is my dress just so you get the idea:  I'm using more chandelier silver earrings with Swarovski crystals.  They are very vintage looking and I wanted to find a bracelet to go with them.  I'm also not wearing a necklace because of the neckline of my dress.

    I love the earrings you posted for the girls and I would have them wear just a simple single strand of pearls with the dress.  I don't think that would take away from the neckline of their dress, and actually, I think they need something on the neck with a strapless dress like that.  You could just ask your girls to wear pearls if they have them, and anyone who doesn't, find a necklace.  Then get the earrings for everyone.

    I personally like chunky statement pieces so I would definately go with a sparkly necklace.  In my view the purpose of picking a nice simple dress in a neutral color is so you can jazz it up with jewelry.  The dress you have selected is lovely but I think that the girls will definately want something at the neckline to jazz it up.  In contrast, on your dress you already have the sparkles on the top section so I don't think I would do a necklace with yours--I think the sparkly earings are the better choice. 

    I am not the type of person that likes all bridesmaids to look alike so I would probably get (or suggest that they get) jewelry that suits each of the bridesmaid's personalities--that way you have uniformity with the style of dress and color but the girls aren't cookie cutter.

    If you do in fact want them to all have the same jewelry, like I said above I would go with a chunky necklace, simple earings (so they don't compete with the necklace and an optional bracelet.

    I have to agree with PP. The BM dress would look nice with a chunky necklace. I think without some type of necklace, it will look too bare.
